در ایران انتخابات شد
به تغییر امیدوار بودیم
هم صدا شدیم، هم رنگ شدیم و آهنگ تغییر کردیم
هم صدایی مان لرزه بر وجودشان افکند
هم رنگی مان وحشت به دلشان انداخت
تغییر را بر نمی تابیدند
رأی مان را دزدیدند تا نا امیدمان کنند
تحقیرمان کردند تا افسرده شویم
با ما جنگیدند تا ما را از هم جدا کنند
خونمان را جاری کردند تا دیگر سبز نباشیم
ولی ما موج بودیم، سبز بودیم، حق بودیم
و هستیم
سبزتر خواهیم شد
و ایران را دوباره سبز خواهیم کرد

e abbiamo cantato al cambiamento.
La nosta voce mise loro brividi,
Il nostro colore mise loro paura.
Ed essi,non sopportarono il cambiamento.
Rapirono i nostri voti per uccidere la nostra speranza.
Tentarono la nostra umiliazione per disperderci.
Ci hanno represso per separarci,
E hanno versato il nostro sangue per coprire il nostro verde.
Ma noi eravamo e siamo una tumultuosa onda verde
in cerca di verità!
Saremo ancora più verdi e da questo verde rinascerà
l'Iran.
VERDE SIGNIFICA RESISTERE,

they could not tolerate change
they stole our votes to disappoint us
they humiliated us to depress us
they fought us to divide us
spilled our blood for us not to be green
but we were a wave
green and true
and we remain
and will grow greener
and will turn Iran green again.
